According to the project, the new highway will begin in the industrial zone of the city, near Fridon Khalvashi Avenue, where it will be connected to the newly opened Batumi Bypass Road via a special road junction. A new bridge will be constructed over the Chorokhi River, and from the bridge, the road will continue through the areas of Akhalsopeli and Charnali, exiting in Sarpi through a 7.6-kilometer-long tunnel near the Andria Waterfall, where it will connect to the existing Sarpi–Batumi road
